Went down to West Fork Friday night for the Bulldogs game and 71 was backed up way before I even got to town. Then I drove back through Saturday afternoon and it was the same thing, cars parked down both sides of the road toward Devil's Den, people just wandering around. I've lived in Fayetteville since 2020 and honestly never paid attention to it down there in the fall.
A guy at the concession stand said "oh it's always like this when the leaves turn," but he also said the same about the line for the nachos so I don't know how much to trust him.
So is this just normal for that stretch? Or has it gotten worse the last few years with everybody moving down this way? Also if anybody knows a decent coffee spot between here and there that isn't the gas station, I'm all ears. That was rough.
