hey windy out at Lake Fayetteville today, be careful

Was out walking the trail around Lake Fayetteville this afternoon and wow, the gusts were no joke. Over by the dam it felt like it was trying to push me into the water... and the oaks on the east side were dropping limbs, some of them bigger than my arm. Saw one come down maybe 20 feet ahead of me on the trail.

If you're planning to run or bike the loop tonight or tomorrow, maybe keep an eye up and not just on the path. Same goes for kayaks or paddleboards, the whitecaps on the open stretch were pretty rough. Dogs and little kids too, a few people were chasing hats and leashes.

Anyone know if the forecast is supposed to calm down by tomorrow? I keep seeing different numbers depending on the app. Stay safe out there everybody
